A message from the Scientific Program Committee Chair
On behalf of the Scientific Program Committee, I am delighted to invite you to attend the American Pain Society's Scientific Summit in Anaheim, CA, March 4-6, 2018. The summit's theme is "Understanding Pain Mechanisms." Our goal is to create a comprehensive, shared meeting experience to fully explore this theme through plenary lectures, focused symposia sessions, interactive networking sessions, SIG meetings, poster sessions, and exhibits.
This program has been designed to offer the most outstanding content from the best in the field. Our esteemed faculty will present their latest clinical, translational, and basic science research in 6 plenary sessions and 12 symposia. There will also be roundtable discussions and new networking opportunities that will allow you to interact with your fellow pain professionals. Along with this excellent scientific programming, we invite you to explore the updated Experience Exchange, take part in poster voting, attend the early career forum, and honor APS award recipients.
March is a great time to spend in Southern California. Extend your stay to explore all the city has to offer. Disneyland parks and attractions are just a walk away from the Disneyland Hotel. Anaheim is home to a craft brew scene, great shopping, and historic architecture and is a short trip to beautiful beaches.
It is an honor to serve as the chair for the 2018 Scientific Program Committee, and I look forward to seeing you all at the Summit!
