How did receiving the Future Leaders in Pain Research Grant impact your career in pain research?

Our lab secured 2 grants, an R21/challenge grant and a 3 year DoD grant. I was a co-PI on each of these grants. We have published 1 manuscript and have another in preparation. We anticipate another 2 manuscripts leading out of the work investigating the role of adenosine agonists in neuroinflammation.
