CDC Publishes New Report on Chronic Pain Incidence
The 2016 National Pain Strategy called for more precise estimates of chronic pain and high-impact chronic pain which limits life activities. In a report issued September 14, the CDC estimates that 20 percent of US adults (50 million) have chronic pain and 8 percent (20 million) have high-impact chronic pain. Read the report.
