Just Released: National Pain Strategy Draft
APS is extremely pleased to advise you that the National Pain Strategy draft is now available for review.
The Interagency Pain Research Coordinating Committee (IPRCC), which falls under the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), was charged by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health to create a comprehensive population health level-strategy for pain prevention, management, research, and treatment. The NINDS Office of Pain Policy has just published a notice soliciting public comments in the Federal Register.
Individuals may comment on the National Pain Strategy draft by Wednesday, May 20 at 5 pm EST. Comments may be sent via e-mail or addressed to Linda Porter, PhD, c/o NINDS/NIH, 31 Center Drive, Room 8A31, Bethesda, MD, 20892.
APS will prepare and submit a comment on the draft, we encourage you to do the same.
