APS is pleased to announce the publication of the seventh edition of the Principles of Analgesic Use.
With the addition of several new tables and an adjusted title to reflect the incorporation of chronic noncancer pain considerations, the new text features current evidence and expert consensus opinion that support the use of analgesic drugs as an important part of multimodal primary care or specialty management of pain. Seventh Edition Panel Chair Christopher Herndon, PharmD BCPS CPE, says the Principles of Analgesic Use aims to “provide frontline clinicians and educators with easily accessible and practical information on the pharmacologic treatment of pain based on the most current evidence.”
