Travel Fellowship Presentations

This symposium will provide an opportunity for early career investigators to participate and receive travel awards, and will encourage networking with senior investigators as well as an opportunity to present new research in the form of both oral and poster presentations.  Information and eligibility for the travel awards is as follows:

  • Applicants must be graduate students, postdoctoral students or clinical fellows.
  • Applicants must submit a 200-word abstract which will be scored by reviewers who have extensive experience reviewing abstracts, journal articles, and grant applications. 
  • Award recipients will give 5-8 minute oral presentations during Session II of the schedule of events.
  • Travel fellowship award support will be granted to selected applicants prior to the meeting.  Additionally, registration for travel fellowship awardees will be waived for the general APS meeting
  • Minority individuals and women will be encouraged to apply.

Therefore, while the organizers will accept applications beyond March 15, early submission of materials will be advantageous.
