Call for 2016 Nominations

The APS Nominating Committee seeks your nominations for open positions on the 2016 Board of Directors and Nominating Committee.

The Secretary and three Directors-at-Large will be elected to take office at the 2016 Annual Scientific Meeting in Austin, TX. Additionally, the 2016 7-member Nominating Committee will be elected, which now includes 2 past presidents, 2 former board members, and 3 members at large.

Nominees must be APS regular members and should demonstrate leadership qualities; have the ability to develop, communicate, and sustain the APS’s vision; possess strategic thinking, motivation, negotiation and communication skills; and also exhibit a sense of mission and dedication to the society, its members, and the purposes we serve.
