Support the Pain Research Fund by donating today.
Only 1% of NIH research funding is dedicated to pain research, even though 100 million Americans have chronic pain. APS is changing that.
The purpose of the APS Pain Research Fund is to provide an outlet for APS members and non-members to donate funds to support research with grants that will enable researchers to compete for larger grants and the creation or revision of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. Recipients of one such grant, Future Leaders in Pain Research, have gone on to be published 508 separate times and receive other grants totaling $34,574,587 since 2006
By donating to the Pain Research Fund, you are supporting APS's mission domains (Research, Education, Clinical, and Advocacy) which help to further members' interests and professional needs, ultimately supporting membership recruitment and retention.
